My 2019 Goals

I know this post is a little late as it is now January 6th lol! Hey but better late than never! As I looked back at 2018, it owed me nothing! It was a great year. There were ups and downs but I prefer to focus on the positive side of everything.

I wanted to share with you all some of my 2019 goals because I want to hold myself accountable and look back at the end of the year to see how far I’ve come with my goals. I don’t know but I don’t really like the word resolution so I prefer to set goals instead. This is just my preference. Here are some of my goals that I plan to work towards in 2019.

Eat Healthier

This one may not come as a surprise. If you follow me on IG then you know that I am participating in the OMD Challenge. This is a 10- day challenge where I am replacing one meal a day with a plant-based meal.

Exercise

I know that I am not overweight but I am definitely not in shape. I want to get in shape and tone up some areas. My stomach specifically. I just want to be able to walk up a flight of stairs and not be tired. I want to do some cardio and tone up.

Read more books

(actually, read and complete them) I buy a lot of books but never finish them completely. I think I like audible more than actual reading so I will test it out more. I do like picking up a physical book though. But I plan to read at least 20 books this year.

Take more time offline

I know its kind of hard to do this since my career involves me to be on social media. My role is digital marketing and social media which also includes influencer marketing.

Travel More

I traveled a lot for work this year but I also traveled for leisure. I plan to visit even more new places in 2019! We already have a trip planned to Denver for our 5 year wedding anniversary and also my husbands 35th birthday.

Cook More & Eat out Less

We eat out a ton. I am not really sure how much at this point. I have made it a point to try to cook at least 2 meals a week. This will change though because I definitely want to eat healthier and that involves cooking recipes myself at home for my family. I also want to get into meal prepping and prep my meals for the week and just pop them in the microwave at work.

What are some of your goals for 2019? I would love to hear! Happy New Year!! Xo Michelle
