Different Income Streams to Add to Your Online Business

Online businesses are booming this year! The pandemic has forced us to quarantine at home and we are spending more time online as a result. If you run an online business, you’ve probably thought about how you can take advantage of all this new online traffic and make more money online. Try out some of these different income streams. They may give you the revenue boost that you are looking for.

 Advertising

Does the idea of advertising on your website make you cringe? You may not want to clutter your website with irrelevant ads just for the sake of money. Here’s the thing. Ads can bring in a lot of cash and they don’t have to ruin your website’s aesthetic.  Pay-per-click ads (PPC) can be a great revenue stream, and you are able to decide what sorts of ads appear on your site. Seek advertisements from companies that are in the same niche as you, or from companies that will be an asset to your visitors.

Affiliate Programs

Have you ever considered marketing another company’s product on your site? By partnering with companies like Amazon that offer this service, you can make money every time someone purchases their product(s) through the link on your site on your social media pages. Some affiliate programs even pay per click, no purchase needed. Sign up, grab the link, post it on your site, and wait for people to click it. Talk about passive income! It’s literally a click away.

Create a Digital Product

If you are tech savvy, you should think about creating a digital product or service. This option will bring you a high return on your investment because you’re not investing in many raw materials. You’ll need a computer, maybe some software and perhaps a subscription or two for a service online to help you create your product. Digital products can range from pamphlets to graphic design. Make sure you follow these two rules:

  1. Create something that relates to your current audience
  2. Release your products one at a time

You don’t want to provide a product your audience doesn’t need and you don’t want to overwhelm yourself. Don’t forget to use social media to promote your new product.

These are just a few suggestions, but the main idea is to not limit yourself. Get excited about researching additional revenue streams to add to your online business! You’ll be surprised what your brand is capable of. Join the conversation on Instagram , Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube and let me know how you are growing your online revenue stream! Be strategic and consistent. You will start to see the income roll in!
