“Be your own kind of beautiful” – Marilyn Monroe

Hi there!!! I’m Michelle also known as @Naturalista86 on social media. I am thrilled to have you visit my space in the blogging world! I’m a Wife, Mom, freelance writer, event host, and speaker with a passion for natural hair and beauty. I reside in a suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois with my amazing husband Randy, and beautiful baby girl Riley Jayne. In my free time, I love reading and a little shopping!

About Happily Ever Natural

I began blogging in 2009 as therapeutic reinforcement for self-care. Happily Ever Natural was created in 2012 as a way to socially connect with the natural hair community. I would always get asked about the techniques I used on my hair, and I wanted to be able to help, so I decided to start my blog. Since its inception, it has grown into a lifestyle and beauty blog that continues to grow. It remains a go-to site for many naturalistas, beauty lovers, mommies, and trendsetters all around the world.

Happily Ever Natural’s mission is to empower young girls and women to be confident, courageous and unique in every way!

I’ve been featured on, Black Girl With Long Hair just to name a few. I am also a contributing writer for the largest hair and beauty content platform.
