Simple Tips To Live A More Sustainable Lifestyle

This post is sponsored by Grove Collaborative. As always all thoughts and options are my own.

If you’ve been following me on social media then you know that I am all about living a sustainable lifestyle. Two years ago I began to really focus on what we were using in our home and looking at ways that we could begin to create a more sustainable lifestyle.

Every day we make choices in our lives that affect the environment. I want to continue to do my part to help save the planet and reduce the environmental footprint. We have the power to make changes to our lifestyles that can help to ensure a sustainable future.

I am here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be a drastic change in your lifestyle, to be more sustainable.

Here are four simple changes that you can make to live a more sustainable lifestyle

Swap Household Cleaning Supplies

When it comes to keeping my home clean, sustainability is my middle name. Last year I began switching over my household products to more sustainable and healthier options. I discovered Grove Collaborative which I absolutely love to use! Grove offers products that are gentler on the earth, they prioritize post-consumer materials for packaging, and carbon offset every shipment that goes out their door.

What I love about Grove is that I can order when I want and on my time. I currently use a glass dish soap dispenser, a glass laundry dispenser, bamboo straws, and a host of other amazing sustainable products. By 2025, every product that Grove makes and sells will be plastic-free. As the first step to plastic-free, they are now plastic neutral in partnership with Plastic Bank. They are also a Certified B Corporation and have been recognized as a business doing good for people, animals, communities, and the planet. I love supporting brands that stand behind amazing causes.

I am so happy because I’ve partnered with Grove to give you this great FREE offer with your first purchase. New customers will receive a FREE gift with purchase to help you start your sustainable journey. I am also happy because your shipment will help Grove in its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees across the United States. They are aiming to plant one million new trees over the next three years!!

Switch To Paperless Billing

I am sure we are all drawing in paper and junk mail. An easy fix is to switch to paperless billing. It’s better for the environment, and it will make your life easier. I love paperless billing because I feel that I am saving so many trees. It’s also much easier for me to view everything online rather than managing tons of physical mail.

Reduce Your Consumption Of Household Energy

A good rule of thumb in my home is to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and heat when you leave the room. There are also knobs you can add to your toilet for dual flush to also help you conserve energy and save on water.

Recycle

We like to purchase products that have already been recycled. Grove has many items that we love such as toilet paper, and reusable bottles. We also started looking at using rechargeable batteries. We also make sure to start using our recycle bin more for paper and cans.

I hope these tips help!
