One thing that I have learned over the years is that confidence is mainly a set of learned skills or beliefs. While in the learning process, you can imitate the behaviors you want to possess and demonstrate them externally. Over time you can develop confidence on the inside to match. Confidence to me is self-fulfilling I think I am beautiful, so I feel beautiful.

Growing up I would always get teased about my smile. I have a gap in my teeth, and my teeth are not the straightest teeth in the world, but I love my beautiful smile. Over the years I have learned to love my smile and accept my flaws. I have found ways to help me boost my self-confidence and I have incorporated them into my morning routine. Here are a few ways I boost my self-confidence in the morning.

5 Ways I Boost Self-Confidence In The Morning

Reading Daily Quotes

Reading daily motivational quotes help me get my day started and help me feel empowered in the morning. My favorite daily quote is “Smile every morning, It makes you attractive, it changes your mood, It relieves stress, and it helps you stay young and positive.”

Smiling in The Mirror

While I am brushing my teeth in the morning, I smile at myself because it makes me feel good. I have a gap in my teeth, and they are not the straightest teeth, but I don’t let that stop or interfere with my confidence. I love my smile, and with Colgate® Optic White® RADIANT™ Toothpaste in my routine, I feel beautiful because it helps boost my confidence in my smile no matter what anyone else may think of my teeth. What I love most is that Colgate® Optic White® RADIANT™ Toothpaste is made with dentist recommended ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, and that helps you feel beautiful both inside and out. This is an enamel safe toothpaste for daily use. This is a new product launch at Kroger.

Setting Goals In My Journal

I like to plan out my goals and write them down in my journal. It feels good to see my goals written down on paper. I’m so old school, I know we have our phones but I still like writing things down. Your daily goals should be actionable,  and measurable goals that you can complete throughout the course of your day. I write my goals down in the morning and revisit them at the end of my day to see what I have accomplished.

Listening to Music

Listening to my favorite tunes gets me going for the day. Turning on my favorite song and dancing puts me in a good mood. Listening to music helps me to forget about things that may be troubling me and feel confident about things in my life.

Dressing The Part

Putting on my favorite shirt or my favorite jeans really helps make me feel my best and also helps boost my confidence. The way we look plays a major role in our self-confidence. Your attire affects your mood, and I always feel my best when I look my best!

What are some ways that you boost your confidence in the morning?

A hot cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea. It is my quiet time where I shut out the world if only for a moment.

I love prayer early in the morning with my husband. And I love makeup so I like to see what looks I create for the day, even if its a natural look. On the way to work I usually listen to some good music or a sermon to get me going

I’m so not a morning person so I really can’t say I have a confidence boosting routine to start off my day. These are great ideas. Perhaps I can try to make the effor t to get up early enough to have time to implement some of them.

I love the idea of smiling at yourself in the mirror while brushing your teeth. With whiter teeth, that would definitely boost my self-confidence.
